A voice audition turns Millie off the spoken word and Stan has to dig deep in his bag of coaching tricks to repair the damage. Taylor uses Joyce's influence to convince Haddison House employees to buy into his scheme to get a new leather jacket.

Stan learns more about himself than expected in Taylor's journey towards abstinence.

Millie embarrasses Joyce when she insults a celebrity dog at a charity art auction. Meanwhile, redecorating the apartment becomes a runaway train for Anna when they get a new couch. Millie seeks revenge when she is beaten at billiards by her nemesis and neighbour Lewis. Frustrated by her pool lessons with Taylor and Anna she turns to an unlikely source to learn the game. Joyce's driving skills are the centre of controversy with her car pool buddies and Stan becomes more involved in the situation than he wants to be.

Post-baby Crystal returns to work and immediately takes advantage of Millie's good nature. The end result is a shredded file that Joyce needs for a meeting she knows nothing about. Anna's jealousy gets the best of her when Stan is the center of female attention at their pottery class. Things go from good to bad to worse when Taylor gets involved.
